The fact that supplement companies could throw millions of dollars into advertising campaigns that they know will generate tens of millions in return by falsely implying / stating that guys transformed their bodies by using their products is the lowest of the low to me. In fact, this pissed me off so much that I decided to do something about it...
When it comes to supplement taste (particularly with protein powders, meal replacements, post workout recovery supplements, etc) if it tastes too good to be true; IT IS!! If the last postworkout meal replacement you had reminded you of a McDonald's vanilla milkshake, it may not have been too far different nutritionally...
Listen, I have no ax to grind against any particular supplement store. I'm just relaying what I know to be true in an effort to continue to showcase what I feel is wrong with supplement industry today. Competition and word of mouth marketing are the engine that drive the supplement industry. If it's known that someone gets great results from a product, that person's friends are likely to want to get some for themselves - they tell THEIR friends and the hum likely becomes a buzz, with quite a few people jumping aboard the "new supplement" train...
